Cara Sharratt Travel is a luxury travel company focusing on hotels and curating luxury travel experiences in the US and Europe. We enjoy researching and planning and love sharing our experiences and passion for travel with others. Our goal is to create personalized and memorable itineraries and experiences for our clients.

Cara was born and raised in California. She lived in Paris from 2013-2018 and now resides in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Living in both Paris and Amsterdam has given her the opportunity to travel around Europe as a local. She received her B.A. in Communication from UC Davis and her M.A. in Paris Studies: History and Culture from the University of London Institute in Paris. She loves getting to know destinations through their history, architecture, and food. Her passion for travel and discovering new destinations started at a young age when her parents took her to Europe for the first time at 10 years old.

Her favorite travel memories include seeing the cherry blossoms in Japan, hiking the Inca Trail and arriving at Machu Picchu for sunrise, trying out cafés and visiting bookshops in London, driving through Italy during a two-week road trip, visiting the mansions in Newport, Rhode Island, scuba diving in Thailand, seeing the moai on Easter Island, wandering the streets of Lisbon, and visiting the châteaux in the Loire Valley.
